Lead definitions
Last updated October 23, 2026
These definitions decide what you are billed for. They are part of your agreement. Your agreement can add details for your business, such as your service area and the services that count.
Leads
Verified call. A first-time caller who asks about a service you offer, in your area. Any length. A person reviews every recording.
Form lead. A real name plus a phone or email we have checked, asking about a service you offer in your area.
Booked appointment. A new customer books a time in your calendar for a service you offer: we book it from a form lead, or you book it on a tracked call from our ads, confirmed by the recording. Only a new customer’s first booking counts; their repeat visits and later jobs never do. Mark a no-show within 72 hours and it comes off.
Never counted. Spam, robocalls, sales pitches, job seekers, wrong numbers, your existing customers, repeats within 30 days, missed calls with no voicemail, people searching your business name, Google Local Services leads.
One person, one charge. If a caller later books, you pay for the booking only.
Paying customer. A lead you mark as paid in your lead list. We count paying customers in your report. We never charge per customer or take a cut of the job.
Results billed per month
Top 3 on Google Maps. For each agreed search, a month counts when your business is in the top 3 at 60% or more of the 49 checked points in at least 3 of 4 weekly checks.
Named in AI answers. For each agreed question, a month counts when your business is named in at least half of the daily checks on the agreed AI tool. Pay-per-result billing for AI answers starts only once daily checks are live for your account.
Calls from your Google listing. Only calls above your usual monthly number, measured before we start, count.
Never billed
- Spam, robocalls, sales pitches, job seekers and wrong numbers
- Your existing customers (upload your customer list so we can check)
- Repeat contacts from the same person within 30 days
- Missed calls with no voicemail
- People searching for your business by name
- Leads from Google Local Services Ads, which Google already bills you for
- Leads outside your agreed service area, or for services you don't offer
One person, one charge
Each person is billed once in 30 days, at the highest step they reached. If someone fills in a form and later books, you pay for the booking only.
Disputes
You can dispute any counted lead within 7 days of it posting to your lead list (no-shows: within 72 hours of the appointment). Pick a reason. A person reviews the recording, form or record within 3 business days. If it does not meet these definitions, it comes off your bill. A dispute approved after your statement comes off your next one, instead of being refunded.
Platform fee and cap
The $249 monthly platform fee counts toward lead fees: you pay the larger of the two. You set a monthly cap. Leads past the cap are delivered and not billed.
All-in option
When we pay for the ads, only booked appointments are billed, at the all-in price for your industry. Your first 3 booked appointments that meet these definitions are free, and billing starts with number 4. There is no deposit. You set a monthly cap; we pace the ads through the month, and they pause automatically at the cap or if a charge fails.
